We were treated to a fantastic barbeque at Grænahlið, the cottage or Örn and Maddy Arnar.

Kissing the foot of the Viking in Gimli, for good luck.

Now 2 generations of this family have kissed this foot. Ingunn´s father Sturla was on a tour summer of 2001 and he kissed this same foot.

The residents of Betel Home in Gimli were entertained by Sunnukór

We had a nice afternoon and evening in Gimli. At the top of the photo above the boats is Willow Island where the Icelanders landed in October 1875
